Lunch Payments for P4-P7 (All pupils in P1-P3 are entitled to free school meals)
Payment for school lunches and milk can be made online via the Shetland Islands Council’s webpage online_payments and select School Meals and Sound School. You will also be able to make payment by Chip and PIN at the school office. The option to pay by cash or cheque each Friday morning continues for those who cannot access the internet or prefer not to make debit/credit card payments.
Whilst payments can be made in a range of meal denominations at any time (e.g. 1 meal, 5 meals, 10 meals etc), we would advise that you accumulate no more than 4 week of arrears. Any substantial arrears will be invoiced by Shetland Islands Council.
Those wishing to pay by cash or cheque on Friday mornings are reminded that dinner/milk money is:
- paid weekly, first thing on Friday morning;
- paid by cheque, payable to the Shetland Islands Council;
- sent to school a plastic pocket / envelope / purse, which has your child’s name clearly marked.
